Small Acts for the better earth!

Stop smoking! Smoking makes a pollution in the air.
Don't leave computer, sound system or TV stand-by, cause they still consume electric power.
Arrange the radio volume, TV, etc. Louder volume means it needs bigger electric power.
Use wash machine only if you will wash a lot of clothes.
Switch off the computer monitor if you have a break.
Arrange the AC temperature. Colder temperature means it needs bigger electric power.
Switch on water heater machine for take a bath a few minutes before using, then switch off immediatelly if you don't use it anymore.
Clean the vacuum cleaner filter. Clogged flter cause the machine works havier, so it needs more elctric power.
Use an economical lamp of energy. It needs less 80% energy and it lives more longer than another ordinary lamp. It's more expensive, but it doesn't need a big electric power.
Buy electric machine which is economical of energy as you can buy.
Don't waste any papers! Use the two sides of paper and use the blank space of former papers. Paper raw material is very worth to be wasted.
Use water pump to fill place of collecting water, not for using it directly.
Don't leave water faucet open. Clean water is very worth and scarce resource.
Leave your motor vehicles at home if you don't have a long distance trip. Because it's an extravagance of fuel and they generate a lot of pollution especially car. Use public transportation if you have a long distance trip.
Don't use anything that spread CFCs(Sparys, parfume in aerosol dispenser, etc)! That destroy ozone layer.
You should don't use car's AC, because the car uses more fuel.
Use your bike or just walk if you have short distance trip. Besides it saves motor energy, it's also an exercise for you.
Plant any plants and don't destroy other plants.
Throw the garbage to the garbage basket!

Tindakan kecil untuk bumi yang lebih baik!

Jangan merokok! Merokok menimbulkan polusi udara.
Jangan meninggalkan komputer, sound system atau TV dalam keadaan stand-by, karena berarti mereka masih mengkonsumsi listrik.
Atur volume suara radio, TV, dll. Semakin keras volumenya, makin besar energi listrik yang butuhkan.
Gunakan mesin cuci hanya apabila cucian banyak.
Matikan layar komputer apabila sedang beristirahat.
Atur suhu AC sesuai kebutuhan, makin dingin suhunya, makin banyak listrik yang diperlukan.
Bersihkan saringan penghisap debu. Saringan yang tersumbat menyebabkan motor bekerja lebih berat sehingga menggunakan lebih banyak listrik. Gunakan lampu hemat energi.
Lampu ini menggunakan energi 80% lebih sedikit dan berumur sampai 10 kali lipat dibandingkan lampu biasa. Harganya memang lebih mahal, tetapi dapat menghemat biaya listrik.
Beli perangkat elektrik dengan model yang paling hemat energi yang mampu dibeli.
Hemat kertas! dengan mencetak di kudu sisinya dan gunakan kembali bagian kosong kertas bekas. Bahan baku kertas sangatlah berharga untuk disia-siakan
Gunakan pompa air untuk mengisi tempat penampungan air, bukan untuk menyalurkan air.
Jangan meninggalkan keran air yang terbuka. Air bersih merupakan sumber daya yang sangat langka dan berharga.
Tinggalkan kendaraan bermotor di rumah apabila melakukan perjalanan yang tidak terlalu jauh. Karena bahan bakar mobil merupakan pemborosan besar dan menimbulkan polusi. Gunakan kendaraan umum untuk perjalanan yang jauh.
Jangan gunakan apapun yang menyebarkan CFC(berbagai spray, parfum dalam kaleng semprot dll.)! Itu merusak lapisan ozon.
Sebaiknya tidak menggunakan AC mobil, karena merupakan pemborosan bensin.
Gunakan sepeda/jalan kaki untuk perjalanan pendek, selain hemat energi, juga untuk olahraga.
Tanamlah tanaman dan jangan merusak tanaman yang sudah ada.
Buang sampah pada tempatnya!

Dan buanglah bekas permen karetmu di tempat sampah terdekat: burung-burung bisa tertarik pada warnanya kalau kau membuang permen karetmu di tanah, lalu mereka makan permen karetmu, kemudian paruh mereka jadi tertutup lengket dan mereka akan mati kelaparan.

Me:

Seharusnya kita buang segala sampah di tempatnya bukan hanya sampah permen karet.
Jalan kaki atau naik sepedalah yang terbaik, tentu jika perjalanannya dekat. Karena jika kau sedikit-sedikit naik kendaraan bermotor, aku akan berterima kasih banyak padamu karena kau telah berkontribusi penuh atas polusi udara dan pemanasan global yang ditimbulkan kendaraan bermotormu. Tentu dalam kasus perjalanan jauh, sebaiknya kau naik kendaraan umum saja. Efeknya akan sangat banyak, seperti mengurangi polusi udara dan mengurangi kemacetan.
Terima kasih banyak kepada perokok karena mereka mengambil hak-ku untuk menghirup udara bebas dan mempertinggi tingkat pemanasan global, polusi udara, efek rumah kaca, kerusakkan ozon... pokoknya terima kasih banyak!

Life Story- School and Vacation

This is summer vacation. The actually, there's no summer vacation in my country. I think, this is rainy-season-vacation. Oh, whatever.
It's just school vacation in rainy season.

In this vacation, my younger female cousin came to stay at my house for a week. And next week, my older female cousin celebrate her 17th anniversary. I don't know, her anniversary is on Sunday, after that day, Monday, I must go to school!!!
I spend this vacation with...watching Mean Girl, Ella Enchanted, The Incredibles, Scary Movie 3; reading The Princess Diaries vol. II-Perfect Princess; surfing internet; attending my courses; going shopping spree with my friends; watching TV; checking e-mail; eating Arabian Chicken with my cousin; playing Poker and other card game with my brother and his friends also with my cousin, sometimes.

It's totally boring! Except when I have a shopping time with my family tomorrow. Ha ha, I can't wait! How about the shopping sprees with my friends? It was terrible! Yeah, I bought some items and have photo box, but we were in the small mall! It wasn't good mall.

School!!! God. I can't help that! Now I'm in the third grade of Junior Hi school. And my last score isn't satisfied enough.
I must study harder or I can't pass. Hello, this is third grade!

Take any extra classes
No more wasting time or watch awful TV programmes
Use the time effectively and efficiently
Attend courses
Study everyday except on weekend
Write what teacher has explained, (about the lessons) it can make still 'alive'!
Ask theacher if don't understand (uh c'mon, it just ask! why I'm always hesitant?!)
Write the schedule
Stop activities which don't relate to school
Don't forget to have breakfast before go to school

Rainbow Warrior

Captain Pete sent me an e-mail. I mean, it's not real that captain Pete really sent me an e-mail personally, you know. It's like a Greenpeace thread, or whatever I don't know. I'm a Greenpeace cyberactivist.
I've read the message, Peter Wilcox was the captain of the Greenpeace vessel Rainbow Warrior when French agents bombed and sank the ship in New Zealand in 1985, and killing a member of his crew. Well, of course, it doesn't sound good. Because they tried to stop our campaign against nuclear weapons testing.

Rainbow Warrior is my favorite icon. yeah, it's an icon for a worldwide movement of supporters (like me). Ha ha. Maybe it's because the Rainbow. I love rainbow. The color especially.

Hemat kertas (dan juga energi yang digunakan saat memproduksinya) dengan mencetak di kedua sisinya dan dengan menggunakan kembali kertas bekas.
Belilah perangkat kantor seperti komputer, printer, mesin fotokopi yang hemat energi.
Mintalah kepada kantor anda untuk melakukan audit mengenai konsumsi energi, dan carilah cara untuk menghemat energi.
Mulai proyek di sekolah untuk melacak dan mengurangi pemborosan energi.

Gunakan mesin cuci hanya apabila cucian anda banyak.
Jangan mandi dengan menggunakan shower selama berjam-jam.
Gantilah lampu yang anda gunakan dengan lampu hemat energi. Harganya memang lebih mahal daripada lampu biasa, tetapi anda dapat menghemat biaya listrik.
Apabila anda membeli mesin cuci, kulkas, mesinpencuci piring atau oven, pilihlah model yang paling hemat energi yang mampu anda beli.
Pasang pemanas tenaga matahari di atap rumah anda. Jadikan rumah anda menjadi sumber tenaga!
Tinggalkan mobil di rumah apabila anda melakukan perjalanan yang tidak jauh.
Gunakan sepeda untuk perjalanan pendek, selain hemat energi, itu akan membuat anda bugar!
Gunakan kendaraan umum untuk perjalanan yang jauh.

Approximately 175,000 American girls have a child before they're 18 years old. Teen pregnancy often turns out to be a personal tragedy for these young women, n' it's also a very serious problem for the nation. In June 1996, the results of a study called "Kids Having Kids" showed that teen pregnancy costs taxpayers almost seven billion dollars per year.

Having a baby so early in life can lead to a number of social problems. 70% of teen moms don't finish hi school. Teen parents have higher proverty rates, n' there's a greater chance of their having to depend on money from the government. The problems get even worse for their children.

Babies of teen moms have a bigger chance of being born too soon n' may suffer more childhood health problems than children born to older moms. The children of teen moms often have trouble in school, n' they're more likely to fail a grade or to drop out. These children are also twice as likely to suffer from poor care or from abuse. N' the "Kids having Kids" study reported that the daughters of teen moms are up to 83% more likely to grow up to become teen moms too! That may be the biggest problem of all, cause these sad circumstances get repeated from one generation to the next.
